Time flies! Yesterday we had our last internal meeting for this spring, in Gothenburg at Remfabriken. The place is a typical working-place from the beginning of the 20th century and probably the best preserved one from this period in Scandinavia.
Originally a weaving mill for industrial belting, it was founded in 1891 and closed in 1977. Today it’s a unique “living working museum” run by an association of volunteers. The volunteers are maintaining the machinery and producing ribbons, lace and other products for the museum shop. They also make guided tours of the mill. A very interesting and inspiring environment!
Focus for the meeting was reports on how it has gone so far this year, combined with talking about the future. Both about the upcoming autumn, and also about pension – something that’s closer for some of us and a bit further away for others… 🙂
Tuesday, we had a late dinner at Hard Rock Café, followed by a (non- 🙂 ) prestigious competition in Shuffle board. A way of celebrating and wishing each other a happy summer.
